We are currently accepting applications for a Banking Operations Advisor located in-office in SLC, Henderson, Houston, Denver, Phoenix, or San Diego.

The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on operational issues, responsible to assist branch and other banking operations groups with a variety of operational issues.
  • Research and resolve escalated operational issues, questions, projects, and audit concerns.
  • Manage the coordination and status reporting of project-oriented work efforts.
  • Provide operations guidance, coaching, and advice to branches including assistance with policies and procedures, computer applications, and general operations issues.
  • Ensure all actions comply with Bank and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop, write, and communicate new policies, procedures, forms, and tools.
  • Update and revise policies and procedures, forms, and materials due to operations or system changes.
  • Research, compile, analyze, and report operational data, including business unit production and productivity statistics.
  • Perform routine audits, oversee, and analyze data to mitigate financial and/or operational, administrative risks.
  • Research and resolve inconsistencies in areas of responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a college degree in business, finance, communications, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in branch banking, banking operations, policies, procedures, regulations, communications or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Working knowledge of banking operational processes, procedures, regulations, policies, and applications.
  • Ability to handle escalated operations concerns and make recommendations for process changes.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid business or technical writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of employees.
  • Solid analysis, problem resolution, decision making, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple departments and leaders.
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of computer software, i.e. Microsoft word, excel, etc. and various banking systems.

Salary Range (Depending on Experience): $52,875- $70,500
