Vectra Bank is seeking a Banking Representative that sits in Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess experience in small business banking and demonstrate both reactive and proactive engagement with clients and prospects via our online platform. Responsibilities include conducting chat, voice, and email interactions to facilitate the acquisition of new clients, as well as supporting product selection, NAOP, and Spark applications.
Essential Functions:
- Perform outbound sales and service calls to prospective and existing bank clients in order to generate and service a wide variety of loans.
- Manages relationships with existing and new clients thru regular phone calls to ensure business needs are being met.
- Aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect referrals.
- Responsible for expanding client base by sourcing new relationships and making recommendations for bank products and services to new and existing relationships.
- May assist clients with product offerings, selection, loan application processes and opening accounts via phone.
- Responsible to follow all operational procedures and adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Provides support to business unit personnel as needed.
- Assists with department projects and tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in inside sales, branch and business banking, credit lending and analysis or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Working knowledge of sales, lending, credit analysis, customer service, retention skills and banking products and services.
- Ability to expand loans, client relationships and make recommendation for bank products.
- Familiarity of the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
- Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
- Must have good customer service, problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to use a variety of computer software.
- Requires initiative and ability to recognize opportunities.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $31.00 - $43.50 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
