Vectra Bank Colorado is excited to offer an opportunity as a Commercial Lending Assistant for our busy Commercial Real Estate Department to an experienced candidate.
Essential Functions:
- Assist and support Commercial Lender in the loan documentation process, closing loans, perfecting liens, maintaining credit and collateral files and processing payments and advances Complete loan documentation checklist, order lien searches, title commitments, O&E's and flood reviews.
- Respond to customer inquiries about existing commercial or consumer loans.
- Close new and renewed commercial loans and ensure accurate execution of all documents and receipt of all fees.
- Input new and renewed loans including collecting and tracking of loan fees to ensure proper income reporting.
- Process requests for loan advances using Bankers. Verify availability of funds, maturity date and borrowing base availability to ensure proper credit of requested funds.
- Prepare GL tickets manually on loan payments, advances, loan fees, recording and related fees and transfers and send to proof department.
- Daily post loan advances and payments.
- Process refunds of overpayments on loan payoffs to ensure accurate balancing.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of directly related experience.
- Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline.
- Proficient knowledge of banking products, credit associated lending and customer service skills.
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $31.25 - $36.00 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
