Who should apply?
Those who have:
- A High School degree or Equivalent 1 plus years of commercial loan documentation and review, closing, loan administration or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
- Working knowledge of general commercial loan documentation, loan closing processes and procedures, lending policies, compliance and lending regulations
- Ability to review, read and interpret commercial loan documentation, including documents prepared by outside counsel
- Knowledge of due diligence and risk management requirements
- High degree of accuracy and an organized, detail-oriented work style
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Good problem-solving and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of personal computer equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet or related software. Prefer applicants with a working knowledge of commercial loan workflow software applications and loan servicing systems (e.g. CLO/Credit LEAD (Capital Stream)/Encino, TCS BaNCS, Hogan/AFS, etc.)
- Prefer applicants with a working knowledge of specialty commercial loan documentation, loan closing processes and procedures, such as commercial construction, letters of credit, syndicated / participated loans and/or LIHTC / other tax-exempt financing
- Real estate paralegal experience a PLUS
