Vectra Bank Colorado is excited to offer an opportunity as a Credit Analysis Manager in Denver, Colorado to an experienced candidate. 

Essential Functions 

  • Manages Credit Analysts and/or Credit Analyst Team Lead and support staff, coordinating workflow to provide optimum efficiency and productivity and ensuring effective service quality standards are met.  

  • Reviews and oversees final credit packages sent for approval to assure appropriate deal structure.  

  • Functions as a senior liaison to Credit Administrators ensuring successful and effective underwriting and credit risk analysis/mitigation for all types of new and renewal of line of business loans at the direction of designated Line of Business Lenders and Credit Administrators.  

  • May work on new and larger, more complex loans and relationships and provide back-up support to Credit Analysis only when deadlines are being compromised.  

  • Consistently develops talent through the partnership with Line of Business Leaders, Learning & Development and Corporate Credit Administration to include providing consistent coaching and feedback to employees.  

  • Proactively addresses performance management and continuously assesses successes and opportunities.  

  • Ensures compliance to established investor and regulatory guidelines. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Requires a Bachelors degree and 10+ years of credit/financial analysis, lending, underwriting or other directly related experience.  

  • Management experience required. Motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred.  

  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of commercial and construction loans, credit/financial analysis, lending, underwriting and ability to apply information to current role.  

  • Ability to work with management, lending officers and staff.  

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.  

  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.  

  • Excellent knowledge of credit risk indicators and economic factors impacting credit quality.  

  • Excellent management skills.  

  • Consistently utilizes in-depth knowledge of credit functions to guide and direct managers and team members.  

  • Applies highly advanced concepts in decision-making and problem-solving activities. 

  

Salary (based upon experience): $130,000 - $170,000
