We are seeking a seasoned Private Banking FINRA Licensed Relationship Manager - MLO to serve as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients. This role is responsible for proactively generating, managing, and servicing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients while delivering thoughtful, client‑centric solutions aligned with both immediate and long‑term financial objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing private banking clients, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted financial advisor.
  • Proactively generates, manages, and services a portfolio of clients by independently identifying client needs, risks, and opportunities and delivering appropriate, well‑reasoned financial solutions.
  • Generates, retains, and expands business in one or more of the following areas: loan and deposit products, investment and trust referrals, and commercial business referrals.
  • Performs comprehensive credit analysis and applies sound judgment and critical thinking to structure loans appropriately and in alignment with client objectives and risk standards.
  • Maintains a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication, timely responsiveness, and a deep understanding of each client’s evolving financial situation.
  • Develops and follows up on new client opportunities through existing client relationships, referrals from internal bank partners, and independent prospecting efforts.
  • Proactively reviews existing client relationships and portfolios, anticipates changing financial needs, and delivers strategic, forward‑looking recommendations.
  • Operates in strict adherence to all bank policies, regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; experience with lending, sales, banking products and services, or other directly related experience preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Solid to advanced knowledge of banking products and services, including commercial lending, mortgages, investments, trusts, affinity, and insurance solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and apply critical thinking to solve complex client needs and business challenges.
  • Solid to advanced sales, self‑management, credit analysis, loan structuring, applicant interviewing, and perceptive character judgment skills.
  • Strong financial planning knowledge with the ability to identify investment opportunities, brokerage sales, and appropriate referral solutions.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and confidently convey complex financial concepts.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of service quality and acting in the client’s best interest.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • FINRA Series 79 (or grandfathered Series 7) and Series 63 required within 90 days of start date; full licensing required within six months.

Compensation

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $140,000 – $180,000 annually, depending on job‑related factors such as experience level and location.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, expertise, location, education, FINRA licenses, and certifications.
