Vectra Bank Colorado is excited to offer an opportunity as a Senior Specialty Deposits Manager to an experienced candidate.
- Oversees sales, marketing, and operational efforts for Specialty Deposits, serving fiduciary banking needs for escrow companies, title companies, 1031 Exchange accommodators, property management firms, community associations, and similar businesses.
- Provides leadership and strategic direction bank-wide to drive new business development and sales initiatives.
- Advises officers on the promotion and structuring of specialty deposits while identifying and referring business lending opportunities.
- Develops, implements, and updates marketing and operational policies and procedures.
- Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity. Uses judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.
- Manages the activities of a diverse functional area through department supervisors/ managers or a group of professional employees.
- Maintains responsibility for planning, budgeting, and monitoring long term strategic initiatives. May influence department organizational structure.
- Conducts long-term planning to determine the future direction of the organization.
- Interprets and recommends modifications to department or company policies and procedures.
- Manages development and implementation of department projects through team members.
- Errors in decisions normally result in failure to achieve critical goals and company objectives.
- Interacts with executives and major clients to enhance programs to enhance department programs within the organization and to impact the achievement of departmental objectives.
- Consults top management in long-range strategic planning activities.
- Serves as a prime spokesman in professional field of expertise.
- Utilizes extensive interpersonal skills in motivating employees and influences senior management.
- Leads resolutions for complex customer and regulatory challenges.
- Manages hiring, transfers, terminations, and performance evaluations.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field and 8+ years of banking, business development, sales strategy, specialty deposits or other directly related experience, management experience required.
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of business development, sales, banking and bank products.
- Must have strong of fiduciary banking serving escrow companies, title companies, 1031 Exchange accommodators, property management firms, community associations and other similar businesses.
- Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
- Maintains expertise in regulatory requirements related to specialty deposits.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $185,000 - $240,000 annually depending on job-related factors. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as but not limited to, level of experience, skills, expertise, location, education, and certifications.
