We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for the day-to-day preventative maintenance and repairs at Vectra Bank Colorado Corporate Center. These duties and responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating, and performing a variety of maintenance tasks as assigned. Other responsibilities will include facilitating scheduled preventive and deferred maintenance, with vendors when necessary. The core specialties requiring proficiency will include electrical, plumbing, HVAC and audio visual. This position works closely with Facility Manager and Facility Operations Manager. May operate independently and requires sound judgment in determining the proper course of action that will quickly and accurately remedy problems as they arise.
Essential Functions:

Perform general facility maintenance for the proper upkeep of facility.

Conduct regular walk-throughs of the facility looking for any safety related concerns or janitorial issues.

Prepare, clean and inspect workspaces for moves, terminations and new hires.

Daily conference room inspections.

Respond to submitted facility work orders and perform or distribute work to appropriate party as required.

Tend to maintenance needs of Vectra Bank tenants as assigned.

Assist with administrative services functions to include but not limited to hospitality, break room and coffee stations, and conference room set ups,

Assist with Audio Visual (AV) setups and provide basic operation for meetings and events.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs activity in a database for each location.

Monitor and make recommendations for upgrades to facilities to maintain a professional image.

Schedule, coordinate, and oversee all vendor activities associated with building related repairs or servicing.

Assist Receptionist with coverage for breaks.

Perform other duties as assigned by Facility Manager / Facility Operations Manager.
Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Education Requirements
-
A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, as are a current driver’s license, a clean driving record
-
Strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize work.

Must be able to work independently and perform effectively under deadlines.
-
Must possess extremely strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
-
Prefer a minimum of two years of facility maintenance and operation experience.
-
Must possess sound working knowledge, and theory of operation for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
-
Must be able to interact with and communicate with all levels of employees effectively and provide training if necessary.

Basic knowledge of MS Office and computer skills is required.

This position requires driving and will need to have a valid driver’s license and pass the MVR. Driving is an essential function of this role and as such, employees must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, push, shove, lift, climb stairs and ladders, and carry and move objects that can weigh up to 80 pounds.

Must be able to work in small, confined spaces for extended periods of time.
Hourly Range (based upon experience): $31.25hr to $38hr
